Seniors Programming
Providing countless adults and families with activities and respite.
Founded in 1986, our program has provided countless adults/families with activities and respite. Our program’s objective is to help maintain and enhance an individual’s physical, intellectual, & social needs by delivering meaningful activities combined with lots of laughs and good times.
The Adult Day Program is intended to give Glengarry seniors the opportunity to enjoy social interaction through activities, music, games, and exercise, with transportation to and from programs and events available as required. Assessment is needed prior to beginning the program. We offer both Anglophone and Francophone programs and we are funded by Ontario Health at Home. Clients pay a daily fee to attend the Adult Day Program. The success of the program would not be possible without the work of dedicated volunteers.
Cost is $17.00 a day which includes:
- round-trip transportation
- a hot meal & snacks
- activities

Our Clients
The seniors in the region of Glengarry who wish to get out of their residence once a week because they are limited in their travel for reasons of mobility, transport or isolation. Our program provides a time of respite from a few hours to the caregiver of the senior. The caregiver deserves some free time in order to retrieve its energies.
Our Volunteers
The volunteer drivers are essential to the program. The volunteers also provide support to the preparation of meals/cleaning, and 1-1 help. We are proud of our team of volunteers and we are grateful for their support!
